* You are still getting bigger. Last month we finally had your well child check up. The doctor said everything is great. You weigh 18 lbs. (18%) your height is 27 in. (9%) and head circumference is 18 cm. (59%). You are in some 9 month winter clothes but mostly 12 month. You are still in a size 4 diaper.* Micah, you have finally started to drink water from your sippy cup with meals. You are eating 3 meals a day and usually a little snack of Cheerios. I can't believe the amount of food you can eat! You can eat at least two jars of 2nd foods or a container of YoBaby and a jar of baby food. Along with being spoon fed at each meal, you continue to eat table food. Most of our meals you try a little. Your favorite table food this month has been black beans.
* My little man, we are still nursing! I love it!! Because you are eating so much, we are nursing less but that is OK. This past month we probably only nursed 3-4 times a day. At this point we HAVE to be in your room alone to nurse. If there is any stimulation in the room you will stop and start playing.
* Your love for all orange baby food has lead to the orange glow you seem to have. Your little nose almost glows orange. You are the first of my boys to get Carotenemia (which is perfectly normal).*Micah, you are so kind to mommy and are sleeping great. You still sleep all night long. Most nights you got to bed between 7-8pm and wake up around 7am. Most days you only take one long nap in the middle of the day. Depending on what time you woke up, you might take a little "cat" nap right before dinner. You only sleep in your bed or car seat. It makes me a little sad that you don't let me rock you to sleep but for some reason all the ladies at church can do it?
* You now have your top two front teeth (central incisors) all the way in. Your bottom two front teeth (central incisors) have broken through. Now, you are working on your lateral incisors on the top.
* The biggest news this month is how much you are moving! Two weeks ago you started to "crawl" but were not getting to hands and knees. Now you are crawling almost all the time on your hands and knees! Just this week, you started to get yourself from crawling back to sitting again. You have been the fastest of our boys to do this!!* Micah you want to only play with your brothers toys now. In every room I have a set of baby toys for you but you don't want anything to do with them! You want to play with what ever your brothers have. It seems like hunting for Legos has become a family part time job, ha!
* Mr. Stinky Face, I wish you would stop trying to grow up so fast. It breaks my heart when you push away from my kisses and shake your head "no" at me :-( Sometimes you don't even want to cuddle with me because you want on the floor to play with your brothers.
* A few of the precious memories from this time that I never want to forget are: how your hands and cheeks always smell like Cheerios, how you play with my face while we nurse (you love to put your fingers in my mouth), how "Peek a Boo" is still a thrill, that Jonah calls you "GaaGee"??, how your face lights up when you see Daddy, and how protective Caleb is over you!
We all are so in love with you precious little man!
