The end of K-3

Today was Caleb's end of the year party with his K-3 class. Tomorrow will be the last day of school for the year.

I am amazed everyday at how much Caleb has learned this year.

* Caleb has learned all of his Animal Alphabet Friends (i.e. he can recognize all his letters upper and lower case and he knows the sound that each letter makes). We are starting to sound out three letter words with him!

* Caleb can count to 20 without help and to 100 with help.

* He can write his name

* Caleb has also learned so much from having Chapel every week. He can pledge to the American and Christian flags, he can pledge to the Bible and loves to sing the B-I-B-L-E and Onward Christian Soldier.

* We are so proud of him even for the basics that he has learned. In the classroom setting, he can walk in a line quietly, he knows to raise his hand, and he knows to sit in his chair with feet on the floor and hands in his lap.

Our family feels so blessed that we found PPCA this year. It is such an amazing school. Not only is Caleb receiving an amazing education, but he hears about God's Love everyday and prays before his meals.

Here are the pictures from his pizza party today.

The class (with a few missing).
Waiting for the pizza!
